I began my computer career in the military where I started working with computers as a hobby. Upon retiring from the military, I went back to college to learn more about computers. I earned an associates degree in Applied Science from Portland Community College and a bachelor of science degree in Business Administration specializing in Information Systems from Portland State University (PSU). I gained experience through two internships while attending PSU: System Administrator for Transportation Factoring, Inc. and Support Technician for the PSU School of Business. After graduating, I worked at Intel as a Systems Designer. I moved to Stream International as a Support Technician where I provided hardware and software support for Hewlett-Packard. As a Senior Support Technician, I trained and mentored the other technicians in appropriate support procedures and etiquette.
Experienced with a wide variety of computers and enjoying customer service, I chose to combine my two passions and founded Holcomb Computer Services.
